Imagine seeing Ebenezer Scrooge in 3D.
Better yet, imagine seeing Jim Carrey playing Ebenezer Scrooge in 3D.
Well, imagine no more, as the popular comedian will soon be slapping it up on the big screen as the cruel and selfish tightwad in A Christmas Carol.
To get a taste of just how real Jim Carrey would look as a third-dimensional Scrooge, Disney launched a 3D “Christmas Carol’s” cross-country train here at Union Station on May 21. The train tour is an interactive 40-city rail tour which includes a 3D sneak peek of film footage from the upcoming movie Disney’s A Christmas Carol.
“I understand that character,” Carrey said of his role as Scrooge at the Union Station launch. “I think Scrooge is the original Grinch. I understand that feeling of isolation and of feeling like you’re not good enough, you don’t want to be seen because people will think you’re broken. You blame the world instead of yourself.”
As part of the film’s cross-country rail tour, various scenes can be previewed in the traveling Digital 3D theater equipped with a Dolby 3D Digital Cinema solution supplied by Dolby Laboratories. High-end DP2000 digital projectors provided by Barco also enhance the 3D experience, with Panasonic supplying several high resolution large screen ideal for 3D viewing.
Filmed in Disney’s Digital 3D, A Christmas Carol opens in theatres November 6 in Disney Digital 3D and in IMAX 3D.

Many thanks for posting this, It?s just what I used to be researching for on bing. I?d a lot relatively hear opinions from an individual, slightly than a company internet page, that?s why I like blogs so significantly. Many thanks!
